The Camden County girls hoopsters will head to state after defeating Effingham, 76-69 Tuesday night in the second round of the Region 3-AAAAA tournament in Kingsland. 
    The St. Marys Planning Commission has set two opportunities this month for residents to weigh in on a request to rezone the old mill site. Potential developers have proposed building an industrial and logistics center on the land.

The Camden County girls hoopsters will head to state after defeating Effingham, 76-69 Tuesday night in the second round of the Region 3-AAAAA tournament in Kingsland. 

A comfortable Region 3-AAAAA triumph last week at Glynn Academy led to a bigger prize for the Wildcat boys hoopsters.

Strengthening their quest for a state traditional repeat, the Camden County High wrestlers qualified all 14 from sectionals last weekend in Acworth to the Class AAAAA meet.

Mrs. Imogene “Jean” Clark, 84, of Linda Street in St. Marys passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at her home surrounded by family.

Robert D. Cuthbertson Sr., 81, of St. Marys passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
