A Winter Haven, Fla., man who appealed to the Georgia Supreme Court earlier this year to have his charges dropped in Camden County was convicted in October.

Cumberland Island National Seashore will re-open on a limited basis Friday after damage from Hurricane Matthew. The ferry will also start running again Friday.
