A former Camden County school bus driver has been indicted for homicide by vehicle in a March accident that killed a Folkston man.

Back for the 44th year, St. Marys Kiwanians are putting on the annual Rock Shrimp Festival Saturday, Oct. 1, in downtown St. Marys.

The Smithsonian’s traveling exhibit on Georgia’s Hometown Teams will be unveiled at Camden County Public Library this weekend during a grand opening and kick-off tailgate party.

The Lady Wildcat softball sluggers leveled their Region 1-7A record (2-2) last Friday at home, a 3-2 walk-off victory in the opener followed by a more comfortable 9-2 triumph in the nightcap. 

Friday night will be homecoming in more than one sense at Chris Gilman Stadium, as a former Wildcat brings his Forest Park team to Kingsland.

McEachern gave convincing evidence of its No. 4 state rank Friday night, seizing on early short-field opportunities to defeat the Wildcats, 34-3 in the third annual Frank Smith Classic at Chris Gilman Stadium.
