Deana Cagle Luebbert, 55, of Shreveport, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021, after a long struggle and bitter battle with metastatic breast cancer that eventually took her life.
She was born in Marietta. Deana is survived by her husband, David Luebbert of Shreveport; her sister, Avonda Cagle Casey and husband Andy of Kingsland; and her father, Jerry Alvis Cagle and wife Mary Ann of Ten Mile, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Lucille Dodd.
She leaves behind aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. Deana was loved by and had many close friends. Deana was a beautiful lady with a zestful joy for life and fought this disease with everything she had. She was also a loving wife, a beautiful daughter and a wonderful sister.
Her desire was to be cremated and did not want a traditional service, but rather a celebration of life event. The family is currently working on such arrangements and will update everyone when they are confirmed.
