Erma Mae Henderson, 81, of St. Marys passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Camden Campus.

Born Dec. 1, 1932, in Alexandria, Va., she was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Nora Doyle Simpson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Dunsmor, and a son, Anthony Wayne Turner.

Coming from Jacksonville, Fla., she had resided in Camden County for the past 14 years. She was retired from Dick Gore, R.V. World, with 35 years of service, and was a member of Agape Christian Fellowship Church.

Mrs. Henderson was so loved and respected by everyone who knew her, and especially by her family and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 31, from Agape Christian Fellowship Church, with Pastor Jonny Rogers officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

The family received friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Garrison of Kingsland, Deborah Elrod of St. Marys and Heather Ann Highcove (Roger) of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Steve Turner (Lavonda) of St. Marys; two sisters, Delores Walton and Roberta Lee, both of Akron, Ohio; three brothers, Delaney Lee of Fredericksburg, Va., and James Lee and Johnny Lee, both of Akron, Ohio; and 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.

Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
