Born May 27, 1937, in Silacocci, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Atwood and Doris Gardner Holmes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Winfred “Wink” Francway.
Coming from Branford, Fla., in 2013, Mrs. Francway had been employed with Polk County in the Traffic Division, retiring in 1995. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother, and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland.
Survivors include her children, Donnie Francway (Twyla) of Old Town, Fla., Richard Francway (Anna) of Duncap, Tenn., Dianne Francway Arnold (Tony) of Lakeland, Fla., Tina Francway Williams (Stuart) of St. Marys and James Francway (Tracy) of Gillette, Wyo.; sister, Mickey Harper of Belle, Fla.; and 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
