Nancy Juanita Farmer Horne, 69, of St. Marys passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Atkinson County in Georgia to the late Robert Hendrick Farmer and Leila Alice Spikes Farmer. She was a homemaker.

She was survived by her two sons, Mike Crews and Roy Horne Jr.; two sisters, Cora Lee Harvey and Beatrice (Charlton) Melton; a brother, Jimmy (Rhonda) Farmer; six grandchildren, Brandi Lodmill, Ariel Hall, Colton Horne, Cheryl Horne, Jane Millsaps Crews Smith and Chasity Bronson; and 10-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Chris Crews; a brother, William Farmer; and a sister, Catherine “Cookie” McCarthy.

The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 28, at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston. Graveside funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
