Born March 27, 1943, in Passaic, N.J., he was the son of the late Gordon H. and Alice Bergeron Blanchard.
Mr. Blanchard had resided in Camden County for the past eight years. He started his own business, Process Controls Company, in 1976, retiring in 1993, and turning the reins over to his son, with the business still in operation. He enjoyed boating, and loved being with his family. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Blanchard of St. Marys; son, Bob Blanchard Jr. of Long Valley, N.J.; and two grandchildren, Jake Robert Blanchard and Tyler Andrew Blanchard.
A memorial mass was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in St. Marys, with Fr. Paul O’Donnell officiating.
The family requests memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Blanchard be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Georgia, 3715 Northside Parkway, Bldg. 4, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30327.
