Gary Dwayne Brown, 57, of Woodbine passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, at his residence.

Born July 29, 1960, in St. Marys, he was the son of the late Harvey and Iva Ulmer Brown. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Randy Brown.

Gary was a lifelong resident of Camden County and a graduate of Camden County High School. He retired from Goodrich/United Technology Corporation with 30 years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Marys. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing and spontaneous road trips.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Steve Kegley officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Brown of Woodbine; daughter, Brittni Brown of Woodbine; sister-in-law, Wanda Brown; brother-in-law, Keith Pierce and wife Jeannie; niece, Angela Brannen and husband Adam; nephews, Kody Pierce and Kaleb Pierce; great niece, Alyse Brannen; great nephew, Alec Brannen; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Allison Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
