Cecil Romell Lizzamore, 58, of Sandhill, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, surrounded by his family.
He was born on Dec. 12, 1959, in Kingsland to Eugene and Shirley Lizzamore. Cecil was a resident of Sandhill, Fla. He attended Camden County schools and later enrolled into the Job Corps. He was a carpenter by trade and was well-known as the neighborhood barber. He had a passion for cooking and enjoyed outdoor activities with his grandchildren. Cecil’s pride and joy was spending time with his family and friends.
Cecil was preceded in death by both parents, Eugene and Shirley Lizzamore; and one brother, Kenny Lizzamore.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Judy Lizzamore; his son, Tramaine Lizzamore; daughters, Katrina Albertie and Lashonda Johnson (Domonic); grandmother, Rosa Lee Roberts; grandchildren, Nathaniel Glover, Jacolbi Johnson, Amauree Walthour, Tramaine Walthour, Jaiden Pollard, Kensli Johnson and Alaiya Pollard; four sisters, Rosiland Hines, Rhonda Jackson (Matthew), Pamela Brown and Melissa Lizzamore; one brother, Dennis Lizzamore; a devoted nephew, Eric Hines Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at River of Praise Worship Center, 2188 St. Mark Drive, Yulee, Fla. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Sunset Funeral Home. Interment will be in Elmore-Wiley Cemetery.
