Eilene Frizzell Misner passed away on Dec. 31, 2016, at Colonial Park Nursing Home where she had been a resident since August 2015.
She was born on June 29, 1934, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was the daughter of Sylvester Frizzell and Katherine Klaver Frizzell. She married Christian Misner in 1952. He passed away in 2003.
Eilene owned and operated antique shops in Bloomingburg, N.Y., and Penacook, N.H. She loved the antique business and was successful in both businesses. After selling the business, she moved to The Meadows in Kingsland. She was a member of the Camden County Eagles.
Eilene is survived by her children, daughter Katherine (Bob) Lavandowski of Camden, N.Y.; two sons, Christian (Ester) Misner of Floyd, N.Y., and Charles (Margaret) Misner of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Robert Frizzell of Concord, N.H., and Richard (Aly) Frizzell of St. Marys; and a sister, Patricia (Jack) Silverman of Stuart, Fla. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Eilene was one of a kind. She will be missed.
