A memorial service for Mr. Kenneth Wayne Patterson, 74, of Alexander City, Ala., and St. Marys was held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, at the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Dr. John Watkins officiated.
Mr. Patterson passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, at Russell Medical Center. He was born May 8, 1941, in Tallapoosa County, Ala., to Richard Clayton Patterson and E.V. Gordon Patterson. Mr. Patterson owned and operated Pat’s Pawn and Gun in St. Marys for 20 years and Pat’s Pawn and Gun in Alexander City for 11 years. He was an avid hunter and gun collector and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Anita Marie Fretwell Patterson of St. Marys; daughter, Sharon Lynn Patterson of Rio Vista, Calif; sons, Kennith Dale Patterson (Debra) of Bartlesville, Okla., and Kenneth Dewayne Patterson (Amanda) of Dadeville, Ala.; grandchildren, Dusty Patterson, Eli Patterson and Willow Patterson; and sister, Vickie Barrow (Gary) of Alexander City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wilda Fay Washburn; and brother, Rickey Patterson.
