Curtis D. Reich, 63, of St. Marys passed away Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.
Curtis was born Nov. 12, 1953, in Grants Pass, Ore., and had resided in Camden County since 1999. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving his country honorably in Germany. He was a weapons control supervisor at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base, retiring with 30 years of service. He also was employed with Walmart for 17 years.
Curtis enjoyed race cars, hunting, fishing and his dogs. He loved his family, always putting them first.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Reich of St. Marys; daughters, Jennifer Reich of Kingsland and Kathryn Marie Millard (Patrick) of Amelia Island, Fla.; father, Delton W. Reich of Grants Pass; sister, Linda Mann of Grants Pass; and grandchild, Kynlee O’Neal.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ortha T. Reich, and brother, Delton W. Reich Jr..
A celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys with Dr. Mike Cordle officiating. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Camden County.
