Roger J. Seman, 64, of St. Marys passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.
Roger was born July 24, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, and was the son of the late Emery and Pricilla Seman.
Roger had been a resident of Camden County for the past 30 years and was a science and math teacher for Glynn, Duval and Camden counties for 38 years. He received his master’s degree in theology at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. He enjoyed college football, golf, reading theological books and was passionate about missions work. He was always looking for opportunities to help people in need. He loved the Lord and his family.
Memorial services were held at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys with Pastor Scott Clevenger officiating. The family will meet with friends following the service.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Ann Seman of St. Marys; son and daughter-in-law, James and Carrie Seman of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Nathan Fletcher of Kingsland; sister, Pamela Nees of Boca Raton, FL; grandchildren, Londyn Fletcher, Pierson Fletcher, Noah Seman, Luke Seman, Lincoln Fletcher and Matthew Seman; niece, Emily Nees and nephew, Austin Nees.
