Henry “Hank” Warner, 64, of Waverly passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.
A service to celebrate Hank's life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at Chapman Funeral Chapel. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Hank was born June 12, 1954, in Philadelphia to Harry and Agnes Warner. He was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School and a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church in National Park, N.J. Hank was employed as a welder with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 25, Marine Division, retiring in 2015. Hank was a gentle giant and was loved by many.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Debbie Warner; children, Betty Furlow of St. Marys, Richard Harper Furlow III (Slade Dukes) of Jacksonville, Fla., Sarah Behrman (Chris Barlow) of Woodbine and Amanda Bridges (Dustin) of St. Augustine, Fla.; grandchildren, Alyssa Gregory, Jonathan Furlow, Madyson Behrman, Savannah Behrman, Dylan Bridges, Logan Bridges and Ethan Bridges; sisters and brothers, Eileen Lewis (Bill), Kevin Warner (Jean), Tommy Warner, all of New Jersey and Sister Cecilia Warner of Louisiana; and nephews and nieces, Dustin Warner, Kirk Warner, Susan Warner, Kathleen Lemon, Frank Lewis, Erin Lewis and Harry Warner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Warner.
