Stacy Coates Woodcock, 55, of Woodbine passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at her residence.
Stacy was born on March 24, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas. She had been a resident of Camden County for the past 30 years and had been employed with Gilman Building Products for 18 years. She was a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and a member of the First Baptist Church of Kingsland. Stacy was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She will be missed by so many of her friends and so many people that she touched in a very special way.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, with the Rev. Vernon Dillingham officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to service time. Burial followed at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland. Pallbearers were David Coates, Mike Ingram, Shawn Ingram, Lawton Woodcock, Cleve Bennett and Charlie Strickland.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Woodcock; daughter, Shelby Woodcock; father, Willard Coates; sister, Mindy Coates Ingram (Mike); brother, David Coates; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Stacy was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Maria Wall Coates.
The family requests contributions in memory of Stacy be made to Habitat for Humanity.
