Jerry Nelson Edwards, 62, of Folkston passed away Friday, Dec. 27, in Jacksonville, Florida.
He was born Nov. 27, 1957, in Folkston to the late Jackie Nelson Edwards and Margaret Frances Barnard Edwards Parker. He was retired from the Florida Department of Agriculture after many years of service. He served as president of the Police Benevolent Association.
He is survived by his children, James (Christina) Edwards and Nikki (Jonathan) Snook; a sister: Jacalyn (Perry) Howard; grandchildren, Austin Jacob Edwards, Jonathan Blake Edwards, Madison Kaylea Snook, Brian Joseph Snook and Sadie Jean Edwards.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
