Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Daniel B. Harvey, of Woodbine. Ruth always loved spending time outside gardening or fishing. She was well-known for her green thumb and could out fish the best fishermen. Her passion was her grandchildren — they were the light of her life. She was an exceptional cook and no one ever left her house hungry.  She will be greatly missed and deeply cherished.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Harrietts Bluff First Baptist Church in Woodbine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles.
