Allan “Shane” Nix, 58, of Kingsland left this earthly world to be with his Heavenly Father on Sept. 13, 2021, after passing unexpectedly.
He was born Nov. 5, 1962 in Valdosta. He relocated to Camden County in 1992 and worked for W.H. Construction for 29+ years. Shane loved the Lord and his family with all his heart. He was a hardworking man who was always there to help anyone in need. He had a giving heart and would put others needs before his own. Shane had a great sense of humor and could often be found doing silly things to make people laugh. His family and friends will always remember his boisterous personality and his infectious laugh. He will be greatly missed by so many.
He is survived by Susan Smith Nix, who was his high school sweetheart and has been his loving wife and best friend for more than 40 years. He is also survived by his mother; DJ Anderson; Father; Bobby G. Nix, his brother; Shawn (Debra) Nix; his Children; Brandon (Christie) Nix and Kyle (Amber) Nix, and his grandchildren; Ryan Nix, Bradley Nix, and Mayson Nix, his brothers-in-law, Steve Smith and Alan Smith, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be hosting a celebration of life for Shane’s relatives and close friends at a later date.
