Mr. Herman Wright, 91, passed away on the morning of Jan. 2, 2020, at UF Health North in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Wright was born on April 7, 1928, in Mershon to the late Ambrose A. and Minnie Wright.

Herman worked as a millwright for Gilman Paper Company for 39 years. He enjoyed farming, gardening and traveling to all 50 states with his loving wife. One of his favorite pasttimes was raising cattle on his family farm. Herman's pride and joy was his family.  He was at his happiest when spending time with loved ones.

Mr. Wright is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Juanita Wright of St. Marys; his children, Brenda (Dick) Rowell and Bonnie Johnson, of St. Marys, and Rex (Lorie) Wright of Kingsland; his grandchildren, Paula Lee, Kristie (Jason) Konrad, Tripp (Jessica) Rowell, Sandi (Doug) Anania, Darrell (Tiffany) Cothren and Alan Wright; and his great-grandchildren, Justin Lee, Bryce Lee, Averie Konrad, Kerstin Eyraud, Kade Konrad, Braylie Konrad, Aiden Camp, Koralee Cothren, Finnley Mae Rowell, “Lil” Rex Cothren and Dominic Anania.

Besides his parents, Mr. Wright also joins his son, Tony Wright, two sisters and four brothers in Heaven.

A visitation for Mr. Wright was from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, at Coastal Camden Funeral Home. Funeral services followed immediately at 3 p.m. in the Woods-Wainwright Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor George Anderson presiding. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. Tripp Rowell, Darrell Cothren, Justin Lee, Bryce Lee, Alan Wright and Kade Konrad served as pallbearers. 

Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland is entrusted with Mr. Wright’s arrangements.
