JOSSELYN – Vikki Lee Josselyn died peacefully in the presence of family June 15 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Vikki was born Oct. 27 1954, to Leonard and Ann Bendall, growing up with her sister, Dana, and brother, Lenny. She graduated from First Colonial High School in 1972. After earning her degree in behavior modification, she worked at the Center for Effective Learning in Virginia Beach teaching sign language to developmentally challenged children and adults. For years, Vikki volunteered her days and evenings providing respite care for the same population, providing much-needed relief to their parents and caregivers.

Vikki obtained her Georgia real estate license in 1992 and had a passion for education. She was an active member with the Camden/Charlton Board of Realtors and served on the education committee for many years. She always encouraged and educated new agents. She would reach out to any agent she thought may need extra help or advice. She influenced the growth and careers of so many agents. Vikki whole heartedly cared for others and will be deeply missed by the local real estate community.

Vikki is survived by her sister, Dana; sons, Anthony and Joss; daughter-by-marriage, Summer; niece and nephew, Brooke and Jake; grandchildren Alex, Zack, Ryan and Hunter; and five great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life, gathering 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at Allison Memorial Chapel.

To celebrate Vikki’s memorial, please consider donating to the Humane Society of Camden County in lieu of sending flowers at https://humanecamden.org/donate/.
