Catfish Festival rescheduled for Nov. 19
The 34th annual Kingsland Catfish Festival has been re-scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19, after being canceled last week as Tropical Storm Hermine swept through Camden County.
The festival had been set for Sept. 3 and included a 5K run/walk, pancake breakfast, catfish dinners, entertainment, music, train rides and a parade.
Catfish Festival has now been combined with the Runabout in the Royal District car show, which is usually held in March but was canceled because of weather and moved to Nov. 12. Festival vendors will have the option of participating in November or receiving a refund if requested by noon Wednesday, Sept. 14. Refund instructions are available at www.kingslandcatfishfestival.com.
