First baby of the new year in Camden
Justin and Nikki Eyraud welcomed their first child, Justin Eyraud Jr., into the world at 11:48 a.m. on Jan. 2, 2019. With a planned delivery coming a little faster than anticipated, Justin Jr. was the first baby born in 2019 at the Southeast Georgia Health System Camden Campus Maternity Care Center.
The delivery was performed by Jonathan Andrew Egly, M.D., and Cynthia Wallace, R.N., M.N., CNM, Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Obstetrics & Gynecology, a strategic affiliate of Southeast Georgia Health System.
Justin Jr. weighed in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 20.75 inches long. He made his grand entrance a wonderful start to the new year for mom and dad, both locals of St. Marys.
To welcome Justin Jr. to the world, Camden Maternity Care Center Patient Care Services manager Morgan Mize presented the family with a basket of gifts and baby care necessities from the health system’s auxiliary gift shop.
