Marsha Helen Squires (Greenawalt), 50, of St. Marys died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus.
Marsha is survived by her two sons, Jacob and Caleb Squires; daughter-in-law, Mary Squires; three grandchildren, Kaydence, Kayley and Skyler; sisters, Francis Geisel, Paulette Komary, Janet Dulina, Susie Powell, Mary Ann Janiro, Sally Buszinski; and brothers, Frank Greenawalt and Larry Greenawalt.
Marsha was the youngest child born to Frank C. Greenawalt and Ann M. Slebodnik on March 23, 1966, in Greensburg, Pa. She spent much of her childhood in West Newton, Pa. Marsha went to high school at Young High School and graduated in 1984. She resided in Camden County since 1988. She went on to earn an associate’s degree in science from Coastal Community College of Georgia. She worked as a processing tech for Vistakon of Jacksonville, Fla.
While Marsha loved everyone, it seemed her greatest joy was her three grandchildren. She loved to spend every day with them. She had a special love for teaching them to garden and teaching them how to cook.
Marsha was an incredible woman. She left love in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to have a relationship with her. She was loved by many and will be truly missed. We’ll always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace she always gave us. She was there for all of us through good and bad times, no matter what. We’ll always remember Marsha because there will never be another one to replace her in our hearts and the love we will always have for her.
A memorial service will be this summer at her hometown of West Newton.
