Gregory “Tyler” Head, 29, of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at his residence.
Born in Brunswick, his parents are Clay Chadwick and Sheila Head of Waverly and the late Angela Marie Coleman. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frank Head; his maternal grandfather, Lawton Coleman; and his maternal grandmother, Wanda Daniels.
Tyler worked as a sales representative for AT&T in Jacksonville. He loved animals, hiking and taking pictures.
Survivors include his father and mother, Chad and Sheila Head of Waverly; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Zachary Head (Shayda Plumer) of Waycross, Cody Spradley (Brooke) of Ludowici and Joseph Spradley of Pierce County; two sisters, Bradyn Head and Maggie Head, both of Waverly; his paternal grandmother, Eula Faye Head of Waverly; maternal grandmother, Janet Coleman; and maternal grandfather, James Daniels; and his lifelong friend, Brett Waldon of Jacksonville, Fla. Also several other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at Brookman Community Church with Rev. J.C. Carter officiating.
