Janet Sueverkruepp Allen, 59, of Folkston passed away at UF North Jacksonville, Florida, on Oct. 13, 2021.
Janet was born on July 20, 1962, in Rockledge, Florida, to the late Donald and Rosemary Sueverkruepp.
She had lived in Cocoa Beach, Florida, and in Charleston, South Carolina, during her life. She moved to Camden County in 1990 and then moved to Folkston in 2007. Janet was an amazing teacher and had a passion for math, numbers, crafting and gardening. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Folkston.
Survivors include her children, Jeremy Scribner of Kingsland, Jessica Bland (Jamey) of Pooler and Gary Allen Jr. of Yulee, Florida; siblings, Don Sueverkruepp (Debbie) of Charleston, South Carolina, Donna Sueverkruepp of Charleston, South Carolina, and Karen Balliet (Jamie) of Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren, Gary Allen III, Sadie Allen, Rayleigh Scribner and Sophie Bland; and great-grandchild, Raylen Manning.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gary Allen, and a sister, Cynthia Sueverkruepp.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time starting at noon. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The First Baptist Church of Folksotn.
