Seventeen years after the terror attacks of Sept. 11 sealed the fate of the St. Marys Airport, it now appears the the future of the property will still be related to flight. 

A year after Hurricane Irma hit the southeast, work is underway to remove the Wheeler Street boat ramp in downtown St. Marys and build a redesigned ramp that includes more docking space.

A Jacksonville, Fla., man has been charged with 33 felonies in Georgia for allegedly purchasing and using stolen cards to buy diesel fuel.
