The only thing a student should fear in school is a pop quiz — as one student told the school board Tuesday — but that’s not how some students are feeling at Camden County High School.

Recent mass shootings in the U.S., including one at a Florida school last month, have many local parents asking, “How safe are Camden County schools?”

Camden County parents are sometimes notified about nonspecific death threats against an entire student body, such as the graffiti message that prompted an email to Camden County High School parents


The Camden County High girls netters captured the Viking Invitational for the third straight year and the boys placed second last Friday and Saturday in Valdosta.
