LOWE – Andrew "Andy" Robert Lowe, 67, of Kingsland, Ga., passed away at his residence Aug. 30, 2022.

Andy was born Aug. 13, 1955, to the late Sydney and Evelyn Lowe in Miami, Fla.

He moved from Virginia Beach, Va., to Kingsland, Ga., in 2000. He enjoyed taking care of people, his family and doing things for his military friends who had gone out to sea. He loved his family unconditionally, and he had the best lap to sit on for his grandkids while they watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Music was a love for Andy, he enjoyed the Beach Boys music and he played the drums for the Big 8 Marching Chiefs at Florida State University and was a huge FSU football fan. He enjoyed playing in the bands, with Brett Mounsey & Tattered Remnants and Mike Anderson with Spur 40. He was a chief warrant officer in the U.S. Navy and retired after 30 years of service. After retirement, he went to work at the Trident Refit Facility as a chief test engineer and retired after 14 years. He was a member of Southeast Community Church and enjoyed volunteering with the children's ministry.

Survivors are his wife, Debbie Lowe of Kingsland, Ga.; son, Tom Lowe (Amy) of Spring, Texas; two daughters, Elaina Hand (Ato) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Shellby Beagle of Kingsland, Ga.; and eight grandchildren, Sophia Lowe, Dominick Hand, Aiyanna Hand, Lazaro English, LeMark Hall, Leilani English, Charlie Lowe and Sabrina Lowe. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Jane Lowe, and brother Todd Lowe.

Funeral services were noon Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at Southeast Community Church in Kingsland, Ga., and burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation was 11 a.m. prior to service time.
