BROWN – Mrs. Era Mae Brown, 98, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022, at the Senior Care Center in St. Marys, Ga., following a short illness.
She was born in Clinch County to the late Arthur Clark and Martha E. Music Clark. She was a homemaker most of her life and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by seven siblings.
She is survived by her two daughters, Alice Janet Howard and Mary Beth Chauncey, both of St. Marys, Ga.; son, James C. Brown Jr. of Kingsland; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home at noon Saturday.
