Norman Lloyd (Jackie) Harris entered into his heavenly home on the evening of Aug. 4, 2021. 

Norman was born April 16, 1932 in St. Stephens, South Carolina, to the late Johnny L. Harris and Pauline Meredith Harris,

He spent most of his life in Charleston and Ladson, South Carolina. He was a Korean War veteran, retired federal employee and retired owner of Harris Timber Company. He married Myrna Faith Fabian on July 19, 1953. They had a long and happy marriage of 68 years. He loved his family greatly.

Surviving along with his wife are his birth children, Bonnie Rogers (John) and Donald Harris (Kathy). His children of the heart, Ed and Mary Jackson, and Sandy and David Rayson; grandchildren, John Rogers (Ann Marie), Misty Frick (Mike), Lindsay Stone (Kelly) and Danny Weigand; six great-grandchildren, Kevan Bogeart, Rhianon Bogeart, Sean Rogers, Alex Rogers, Benny Tresfgar and JT Frick; a special niece, Melissa Dalton (Clark); special cousins, Judy Young (Dennis) and Delores Lopstieck (Ed); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held First Baptist Church, Kingsland, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21 with Rev. Brian Parker officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.
