Earl Hulett, 81, of St. Marys passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 17, 2021.

Earl was born on July 5, 1940, in Jacksonville to the late Johnny and Clifford Hulett. He graduated from Milan High School.

He was an avid hunter and fisher. Hunting was a huge part of his life. He was a family man and loved his family and his church family with his whole heart. Earl was very active in his local church and enjoyed volunteering, especially cooking for large crowds. He worked at Gilman Paper Company as a maintenance supervisor for 41 years and was a member of Harbor Worship Center.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Marlene Hulett of St. Marys; his two sons, Mike Hulett (Tammie) of Kingsland and Jeff Hulett (Joyce) of Waycross; a brother, Gerald Hulett (Cathy) of Jacksonville; three sisters, Margaret Pridgen of Vidor, Texas, Marilyn Rish (Archie) and Debra Smith (Darrell) both of Broxton; seven grandchildren, Christy, Zack, Dalton, Breanna, Michael, Heather and Sabrina; 10 great-grandchildren, Kyler, Landon, Parker, Charlie, Harrison, Ian, Hannah, Brent, Shyanne and Topanga. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Clifford Hulett; a son, Timmy Hulett; sisters, Agnes Jones, Joann Minshew, Susie Paulk; and brothers, John Hulett and Ralph Hulett.

Active pallbearers are Zack Hulett, Dalton Hulett, Michael Landry, Randy Bordelon, Kyler Bordelon and Landon Bordelon.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday Aug. 20 at Harbor Worship Center. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Harbor Worship Center.
