Anthony Robinson Sr., 75, was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on Oct. 29, 1945, to Hezekiah Robinson and Elsie Armstrong.  He attended the Duval County schools, graduating from Stanton Vocational High School. 

Mr. Robinson worked as a heavy equipment operator for 40 years with St. Regis Paper Company and JEA's St. Johns River Power Park.   

He married Willie Mae "Linda" Robinson on Aug. 2, 1966. Their union was blessed with seven children, 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Upon his retirement in 2013, he and his loving wife relocated to Kingsland to enjoy serenity.

Anthony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He was a faithful member of St. Stephen AME Church for over 65 years, after joining as a child.  Due to COVID-19. Anthony recently attended Christ In Action International Church, under the leadership of pastors Bishop Houston White Sr. and Elder Brenda White. He enjoyed renovating houses, working on home improvement projects, fishing and watching his favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys. Anthony led his family with God's grace and love.  

He was predeceased by his parents, Hezekiah and Elsie Robinson; brothers, Hezekiah Robinson, Clarence Robinson, Frederick Robinson and Ezekiel Robinson; and sisters, Virginia Hart, Fannie Mae Wright, Cynthia Jones and Elsie L. Sapp.

On Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, Anthony Robinson Sr. went home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Willie Mae "Linda" Robinson; children, Anthony, Jr., Emery (Cheryl), Clarinda White, Belinda Jones, Ezekiel Robinson (Annalisa), Felice Mixson and Monese Robinson; siblings, Agnes Carlos, Queen LaPrade and Leonard Robinson; and a number of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration was held at noon, Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, at Greater Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 9550 Ribault Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32208, Rev. Anthony Willis Sr., pastor, with Rev. Dr. David W. Green Sr., pastor, St. Stephen AME Church, officiating.

Mr. Robinson rested in the mortuary for drive-thru viewing Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 5-7 p.m. Interment was held in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery – South.
