Linda G. Tallent, 75, passed away at Southeast Georgia Health System, Camden Campus, on March 20, 2022.
Linda was born on Sept. 10, 1946, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the late James and Dorothy Jenkins. She worked as a designer at the Closet Factory. She moved from Marietta to Camden County in 1996. Her and her husband, James, were very involved in their church in earlier years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, St. Marys, and enjoyed her church activities. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, cooking and loved her family and her dogs.
Survivors are her daughter, Leslie Ritter (Jeff) of Kingsland; brothers, Larry Jenkins (Janet), Randy Jenkins (Chris), both of Dallas, Texas and Jeffrey Jenkins (Milla) of West Monroe, Louisiana; a sister, Jennifer Jenkins (Doug) of Lafayette, Louisiana, and a granddaughter, Hannah Ritter.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Phillip Jenkins.
A visitation will be held 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 at Allison Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 25 at First Baptist Church St. Marys with Pastor Steve Kegley officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
