Southeast Georgia Health System Volunteer Services recently honored David Costa as the Camden Campus Winter Volunteer of the Quarter.
Costa has volunteered in the Camden Campus Outpatient Rehabilitation Care Center since 2021, lending his time and skills to help patients and team members.
According to the rehabilitation team members, “Through his hard work and dedication, David has built a reputation as a reliable and compassionate volunteer who always goes above and beyond in his service to others. He often volunteers extra days during the week when he knows a team member will be out. It is clear that David genuinely cares about making a positive impact through his volunteer work.”
Costa and his wife, Diane Costa, reside in St. Marys. They are members of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, where he volunteers as an usher and with other church activities. Costa is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion, and volunteers in other capacities within the community.
More than 150 volunteers share their time and talents to assist patients, visitors and team members at the Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick and Camden campuses, as well as the Senior Care Centers in Brunswick and St. Marys.
