State party chair says he understands Dems’ discouragement in rural areas
Democratic Party of Georgia Chairman Charlie Bailey spoke Saturday to about 100 Democrats during a town hall meeting at the Camden County Public Service Authority Community Recreation Center.
Georgia’s political landscape is unique. A Democrat hasn’t won a state leadership position since 2006. Meanwhile, Democrats hold both statewide U.S. Senate seats.
