Four Southeastern states, including Georgia, added their influence to the battle over red snapper access in South Atlantic federal waters in an attempt to give anglers and commercial fishers the same access as those in the Gulf of Mexico. They followed up a letter sent earlier this year to the Commerce Department with an action plan of how to get their plans accomplished.
