Why did you go into your particular field? During college, I worked in the retail industry and loved working in customer service and inspiring women to feel good in their bodies and be confident in their style! Opening the boutique allowed me to curate my own space that uplifts women through empowerment and southern style!

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Many things come to mind when I get asked this question. I have always been interested in many fields.  Of course like most girls, I would play "dress up,” but I would also play "shop" with my own clothing, pretending like I was selling my clothing to my barbies!

What was your first job? Bath & Body Works in Birmingham, Ala.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Be true to yourself.

What’s your favorite thing about your job? I love interacting and getting to know our customers! Encouraging women to try something they may never have before and helping them feel as beautiful as they already are.

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you first started your career? I wish I would have started sooner!

Who do you consider to be your greatest mentor and why? My mom is my greatest mentor without a doubt. She keeps me grounded, focused, prays for me daily, and is just my "go to" for anything business or personal.

When you’re not at work, what do you do to relax? When I am not working I love being with family for dinner or around the pool, golfing with my husband and spending time with friends.

What is something about you that most people don’t know? I have my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and worked in that field for a couple years, which is very different from owning a boutique!

How do you hope to grow in your career? Honestly, I love the small local boutique feeling that our boutique gives, but I would love to grow more online and be able to spread uplifting love and confidence to more people outside of our city!

If you couldn’t do what you’re doing now, what would you be doing? There is absolutely nothing else that I would rather be doing!
