Accomplishments/Honors: Being one of the biggest leagues in the country, our town has created a family.
Community Involvement: Unleashed Camden provides a fun, safe and family enriching environment for our community while also celebrating our Hometown Heroes. The Kingsland Police Department and the Camden Country Library have been crucial for the growth and success of our company.
Why did you go into your particular field? Camden County lacked entertainment for families or for individuals of all ages.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? An astronaut, so even if I couldn't reach the moon, I'd still land in the stars.
What was your first job? Dry cleaning business
What is the best advice you’ve ever received? What are you waiting for?
What’s your favorite thing about your job? That I'm able to be a role model for young women and minorities — that they are able to know that they can own their own business and succeed at bringing together a community.
What do you know now that you wish you knew when you first started your career? Not being afraid to ask for help. It takes a village to support small businesses.
Who do you consider to be your greatest mentor and why? My father. He came to this country with nothing and made sure his family prevailed above.
When you’re not at work, what do you do to relax? Make memories with my kids
