Armando Pimentel Angel, 71, of St. Marys died Friday morning, Jan. 3, 2020, at the Warner Center in Fernandina Beach, Florida, after a brief illness.

Mr. Angel was born in Cavite City, Philippines, to the late Gonzalo and Edita Pimentel Angel and had made St. Marys his home for the past 36 years. He was retired from Gilman Paper Company as a crane operator and also from the Navy Exchange as building maintenance.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard J. Angel; and three sisters, Zenaida Hapa, Normina Pascual and Flor Angel.

Mr. Angel is survived by his wife, Juanita Angel of St. Marys; two children, Gerald J. Angel of St. Marys and Amanda Faleschini and husband Peter of Fort Mill, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Isadora, Sawyer, Wyatt and Asher Faleschini; four siblings, Laura Bartollo and husband Delfin, Jose “Pepe” Angel and wife Elsa, Marito Angel and wife Ciana, and Reynaldo Angel and wife Annabelle; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, in the Allison Memorial Chapel. A rosary prayer will be held at 10 a.m. prior to the memorial service  in the Chapel.
