Anne Frances (Washer) Ogden, beloved mother, daughter and sister, joined her recently departed brother, Adam, and her “passed” ancestors Jan. 10, 2021.

May 22, 1974, Anne and her identical twin, Laura (Brown) entered this world prematurely in Kansas City, Missouri. She was an extraordinarily happy baby and usually did “everything first,” thoroughly enjoying having a twin sister close to her for the rest of her life.

Anne graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in Overland Park, Kansas, and enrolled in the nursing program at Johnson County Community College. She was employed at Citibank in North Kansas City, Missouri, where she earned several “firsts” in sales. After marrying and having two sons, she moved to St. Marys to be closer to her sister and parents.

She was an excellent mother and a caring, loving person to all — especially homeless kitties and puppies who will miss her food donations. She loved to sing “The Rose” made popular by Bette Midler. She attended several area churches and was a dedicated Christian even though life handed her many roadblocks and challenges. She was employed by Express Scripts, Country Inn and Suites, Publix and other businesses here in St. Marys. Unfortunately, she had several physical, emotional and relationship issues which led to her early accidental death.

Anne is survived by her parents, Ron and Susan Howard and Wayne Douglas Washer; her sister Laura (Washer) Brown; her children, Ryan and Andrew Ogden; Kaylee Brown, niece; and lots of relatives from the Kansas City area who will be attending her and her brother, Adam Washer’s, joint memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at Southeast Community Christian Church in Kingsland. Friends are welcome to attend.
