Mistey Burns’ granddaughter, Maddie Berry, provided the inspiration for the name of her business, Baby Cakes, when she used the term to describe cupcakes, which Burns said she prefers to bake. “I cannot decorate a cake worth a flip,” Burns said. “But, according to Maddie, cupcakes are baby cakes, and anybody can decorate a baby cake.”
