Ophelia Jones Morgan Judson leaves a legacy of wise counsel and care for many in the community. She died in her Callahan home May 17.  The town of Callahan honored Judson on her 100th birthday with a mayoral proclamation in 2014.

  • Ophelia Jones Morgan Judson spent her life in Callahan. She worked as a certified nursing assistant and also prepared cafeteria meals at Pine Forest Community School for many years. Judson attended Greater Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church for most of her life. She died May 17.
