From Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper: "Doing double duty: On Monday, May 18, 2020, NCSO’s Marine Unit responded to a boat fire that occurred in the Jolly River. The occupants from Springfield, Massachusetts escaped on their dingy boat.  NCSO deputies turned into firemen and used their dewatering/fire pump in an attempt to put out the fire."
