Another water line break hits Kingsland

On the heels of a water line break along Satilla Street on Nov. 7, Kingsland suffered another one as a contractor damaged a line Nov. 22 in the area of Middle School Road, near Ga. Highway 40. A worker laying fiber cable caused the damage in the first break.

The St. Marys Police Department says a 17-year-old shot and killed a 21-year-old Saturday night, according to a news release from the law enforcement agency. According to the release, Lancine Bakary Soumahoro, 21, of St. Marys, was shot and killed by 17-year-old Domonja R. Mitchell.
