Mr. Carlos Alberto Arce-Vera, 32, of St. Marys passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 20, 2020, after a battle with cancer. 

Carlos was born on June 10, 1987, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, to Carlos Arce and Jannette Vera. 

Carlos attended Camden County High School where he played football for the Camden County Wildcats because of his love for the Georgia Bulldogs, “Go Dawgs.” Right after high school, he started in the workforce, leading up to his career as a supervisor for Register Insulation based out of Jacksonville, Florida. 

Carlos is survived by his parents, Carlos Arce and Jannette Vera, and stepfather, Richard Cruzado; his grandmother, Hilda Jordan; his two sons, Carlos and Jordan, and his daughter, Aaliyah; his brothers, Joel, Luis and Michael; half siblings, Carlos and Glorimar; and many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. 

He was preceded by in passing by his grandfathers, Sixto Vera, Luis Arce and Juan (Kito) Ramos; and grandmother, Judith Cortez.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 27, at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland. 

Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland is entrusted with Mr. Arce’s arrangement.
