Jason Ellis Beaver, 50, of St. Augustine, Florida, departed this life on Aug. 20, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Hatfield Beaver; and his paternal grandparents, George W. and Pauline Beaver; and maternal grandparents, Grady and Eula Hatfield of Jacksonville, Florida.

Jason spent years as a Boy Scout troop leader. He also enjoyed tractor pulling with his best friend, Mark Nemecek. He loved camping and fishing and loved to dance. The lights of his life were his daughters.

He was born and raised in St. Marys and attended Camden County High School, where he was in the band, played football and wrestled. He continued his education at Florida Community College at Jacksonville, where he earned an applied science degree in plumbing. At that time, he was the youngest

master plumber in the state of Georgia.

He is survived by his three daughters, Katherine, Madelyn, and Carolyn Beaver of Warren, Michigan; parents, George and Nola Beaver of St. Marys; siblings, Kelly Beaver, Karen Brooks Preble (Jon), Lucas Brooks (Rachel) of St. Marys and Jennifer Beaver Catron (Brad) of Moneta, Virginia; and cousin and friend, David Beaver (Elaine) of St. Augustine along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, a private celebration of his life was held in his honor on Aug. 28 in St. Marys and was attended by the immediate family.
