Lalonee D. Gibbs (affectionately known as "Lon"), passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April, 21, at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born Nov. 12, 1974, to Lynda L. (Gibbs) Thompson and the late James Mack.
He was an instant and constant friend to anyone that came his way and a carefree, kind-hearted person. He was a great man who was loved and revered by many no matter where life took him, always greeting you with a smile on his face. He had the uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
The graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, at the Woodbine Cemetery.
There will be absolutely no viewing of the remains at the graveside service. In lieu of personal visits and because of guidelines set by the CDC and DPH regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, please refrain from physical contact by adhering to the six-foot social distancing requirements associated with mass gatherings.
