SAPP – John Harvey Sapp III of Nahunta passed away June 8, 2022.
He was born to John Harvey and Frances Helen Goolsby on Feb. 8, 1969. He died early June 8, 2022, after an extended illness.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Sutton Sapp; two sons, Aaron Michael Sapp (Heather) and Jeremiah Lee Sapp; mother, Frances Helen Sapp; three sisters, Rhonda Elaine Sapp Hinton Bond (Curtis), Karen Annette Sapp Woodford (Robert) and Martha Lee Sapp; three brothers, Samuel Kevin Sapp (Joyce), Joshua Andrew Sapp (Pamela) and Christopher Allen Sapp (Tiffany); several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
John was proceeded in death by his father, John Harvey Sapp, and brother, Daniel Keith Sapp.
John graduated from Camden County High School and served in the U.S. Army for 11 years, including four tours in Iraq combat.
He loved to fish, hunt and ride his bike. He loved his family and will be missed by all.
His memorial will be held at his mother’s home, 462 Blackberry Road in Nahunta, by his request June 25, 2022.
