Roy Everett Miller, 76, of Woodbine died Monday evening, May 18, 2020, at his residence after an extended illness.
Mr. Miller was born in Woodbine to the late Roy Alexander Miller and Millie L. Cox Miller and had made Woodbine his home all his life. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years. Mr Miller loved to fish and hunt and was a member of several hunting clubs including Satilla Hunting Club and Forks Hunting Club.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean Bronson Miller; and five siblings, Jimmy Mack Miller, Dot, Gladys, Peg and Aglene.
Mr. Miller is survived by three children, Darlene Cooner (husband Larry) of Hortense, Roy Miller of Kingsland and Millie Lemelia Miller (partner Ray) Manning of Woodbine; a stepson, Aaron Ben Davis; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held Saturday morning, May 23, at Colesburg Cemetery.
