Virginia L. “Ginny” Hite Quibodeaux, 77, of St. Marys died Sunday, March 29, 2020, at her residence after an extended illness.

Mrs. Quibodeaux was born in Washington, D.C., to the late Lowell G. and Elizabeth Murray Hite and made St. Marys her home since 2004. Prior to moving to St. Marys, she spent many years in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and central Pennsylvania where she had many beloved friends.
She was a people person at heart and was committed to her church. Many knew her from her famous saying, “I’m Virginia from Virginia.” She was a talented woman who enjoyed singing, reading, word puzzles, sewing and writing. She was a member of Kingspointe Freewill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Quibodeaux is survived by her husband, James Quibodeaux of St. Marys; sister, Peggy Webb of Lake City, Florida; seven children, Stephen Jackson and fiancee Donna Dickens of Wilmington, North Carolina, Tammy Raikes and husband Ken of Curryton, Tennessee, Jeffrey Jackson of Rositer, Pennsylvania, Kim Guest of Jesup, S. Duane Jackson and wife Sandra of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Cindy Thomas and husband Sye of Brunswick and Lydia Grimmett and husband Jonathan of St. Marys; 22 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
